Hello ABATE family,
I hope everyone is staying hydrated and
keeping up on the tire pressure on your
bikes. If you did not make it to Too
Broke For Sturgis you missed out on a
great time.
All I have been hearing is good things
about the event. I myself am already
working on ideas to bring to the committee for next year.
I need each chapter to help getting the
chapter reports in. It really looks bad
when you look at the MasterLink and see
most of the chapters don't even turn in a report. So, maybe some members in the
chapters can reach out and let whoever
does your reports know that the 10th is the dead line.
I'm hoping to be able to print and mail out
copies of the MasterLink, but without the
support from the chapters this will not be
able to happen. I know there is only a
small percentage who actually read these
on line, and if they had a copy they can
actually hold read and share with others
we could grow our numbers.
We need people to step up and take on
positions within your chapters and also
consider taking on a state position. There are many openings. Don't be worried you won't know how to do it we all started at that same spot
We are in the works of planning an all
chapters state pot luck that will be centrally located, in order for every chapter member throughout the state to drive the same distance or close to it. Let me know if you have any idea of where we could have it. I know where I would like to hold this event, but it's a bit far for some (The Caverns). This would be a November potluck.
A new Too Broke for Sturgis committee
will be forming around September. We
would love new people to step up and give your ideas for how to make TBFS 2022 successful.

meeting. August meeting will be changed
to the second Saturday due to prior
arrangements I have with congressman
and senator the first Saturday of August. Everyone is welcome to check out our state officers meeting and see if maybe you would like to try and take in a position for the upcoming elections. Some positions are open now and maybe you would like to temporarily fill in and see if you might like to run for that position in November. Thank you for considering the positions.
