June 2022
Have you ever woke up in a great mood for it to be ruined by one little thing? I am sitting on my patio with my morning coffee and see a Facebook post by ABATE of NY. It’s a video of a motorcycle-only checkpoint. The state of New York actually stops traffic and singles out motorcyclists on their highways to check their license, registration, and inspection sticker.
Can you imagine that happening on the
US60? Or even SR51? While I am so grateful we do not have those in Arizona, it is proof that elections have consequences. I am doing everything within my power to fight for Arizona motorcyclists, but it is important to vote into office those legislators who will not pass laws that infringe
on our freedoms. I can’t do that for you. Only you can do your research, ask the tough questions and make the decision once you are ready to cast your vote.
Learn about the process it takes to get a bill passed from start to finish. Learn how to reach out to candidates and get them to understand your position on issues.
Here is some training if you are interested: Arizona Free Enterprise Club will meet at 6:30 pm., June 29 with its first of five classes where you can earn a Citizen’s Lobbyist certification.
Aimee Yentes, AZFEC Vice President, will teach communications with legislators. Register Here:
