April 2021
Here we are already into March! How are
all of the ABATE family doing hopefully
well.
Good news! Too Broke is still set to go on
June 10th through the 13th 2021. I hope
everyone is planning on attending. We
have some lost time to make up for with
having to cancel last year and all.
This is a new year and new things are happening. Anyone have input on styles of
state shirts, tanks, colors, please let a state
officer know. We would love your input
on these decisions. We also have some
open State Officer Positions that need to
be filled ASAP; so, if you know someone
who might be interested and would be a
good fit for the job please contact a state
officer. Positions are Communications,
State Products, State Safety. We are looking for a place to hold a first, hopefully to
become an annual BBQ/Picnic still in the
works; but again need input from everyone. This is not just my ABATE, it is all
of us who fight and give so freely to get
the word out there "To Look Out For
Motorcycles"; so I come to you to help
with feedback. We are in this together.
Coyote Pass has held their first meeting
and it went well. Congratulations Mohave
Chapter for getting Hooch's in Kingman to
becoming a business member. Way to go!
Congratulations also to Phoenix/Shadow
Mountain for Ain't Nick's Tavern renewing
their 5th year as a business member.
Thanks to both businesses for your support.
Mark your calendars! April 12, 2021,
Motorcycle Day at the Dome. We hope to
see you all there.
Chapter Coordinators, please check your
email. There is a new group for us to communicate.
Too Broke For Sturgis IS HAPPENING
this year! Due to lack of help, if we don't
all start to pull together to make this happen, we may not be able to continue having it. So when the sign up sheets come
around I would love to see each chapter
take on a job that your chapter will do
during the entire event. Break it up
between your members so everyone can
have time to enjoy themselves. This is a
State event and all Chapters should help in
this event. I for one don't want to see it go
away. So with everyone's help we should
be able to pull it off. Time to step up and
help everyone get motivated and excited
about the Event. Spread the word it is happening. Thank you everyone for all your hard work. I truly appreciate each of you for helping ABATE of AZ exist; you’re all awesome!
