ABATE of Arizona Chapter Report - Mohave

We had a very interesting time at our booth during the Laughlin River Run. We had the opportunity to talk with a lot of people about ABATE. We met some other members from other states, as well as, some as far away as Oklahoma. It was a great time and we saw some very interesting sites, and even some we wished we hadn't. This event usually draws in about 60,000 bikers and ABATE of Arizona was well represented during the event.

On May 10th we had our Motorcycle Awareness event at Mother Road Harley Davidson in Kingman. We cooked over 600 hamburgers and hot dogs. We talked with many of the attendees about ABATE and Motorcycle Safety in general. We received several commitments for new memberships, including business memberships. It was a great time with good food and with other riders.

Our monthly meeting on May 11th continued to see an increase in attendance trend, since we moved the location and time.

Plans are in place for our "Burn Yer Buns" run to be held on August 16th at the AVI Casino. Be sure to put this on your calendars now, as more info will be forthcoming shortly.
