ABATE of AZ cannot be used for non-motorcycle issues, despite the numerous recent and important, economic and constitutional issues. When the ABATE email list is used for non-motorcycle related issues (1) mass un-subscriptions occur that result in less communication subscribers for ABATE of AZ as an organization (2) the motorcycle issue relevancy gets lost in the noise of non-motorcycle issues for important information and at times for time sensitive “Calls to Action”. ABATE of AZ must focus on stated goals and objectives as relevant to motorcycle issues of Awareness, Rights, and Education to maintain effectiveness of this list. ABATE of AZ does encourage collaboration with other motorcycle organizations in pursuit of the common goal to protect the freedom of the road and encourage all motorcyclists to join the cause of ABATE of AZ by becoming a member and active participant. However, this is not the forum for spirited discussion, please attend a meeting for that purpose or better yet run as an officer. ABATE of AZ will not tolerate anyone who attempts to use the distribution list as BLOG, SPAM, Jokes, Chain-letters, defamation “flaming”, or personal promotion list. ABATE of AZ will also not tolerate partisan spin, political-ideological, electioneering, candidate endorsements or candidate/legislator defamation. Violators may be warned or become moderated or banned. Additionally, anyone who personally attacks or “flames” another on this list will be banned. Anyone who responds in kind to retaliate will also be banned. ABATE of AZ respectfully requests that all subscribers exercise Discretion of motorcycle relevant and restraint from posting non-motorcycle issues, and encourage productive and proactive posts to meet our challenges of motorcycle Rights, Education and Awareness to protect the Freedom of the Road, regardless of machine or gear. Deliberate circumventing or searching for a “loop-hole” in interpretation of the verbiage above will also not be tolerated, which will be inferred by actions.
