Hello from the High Country Chapter in Payson.

First off, we would like to welcome our newest members to the HCC of ABATE. Curtis and Melissa Taylor from the John Scott Band, Julie Jenkins also the girlfriend of Desi from the John Scott Band, and Ted Keatley from Tonto Basin. Welcome to ABATE.

Our 4th Annual Wild in the Weeds Camp out was another huge success. A BIG Thank you to Mike and the staff at Jakes Corner Bar for your hospitality and putting up with us. The John Scott Band kicked ass again! If your looking for a great band to rock your party, then you should give them a call @(928)-978-9218. The business membership appreciation poker run was also a great turn out. Bill Lutz won the high hand and John Schuman won the low hand. Congratulations ! It was a safe, fun run. Thanks you to the venders that came out and supported us. Hope to see you again next year. If you have never been to our Wild in the Weeds run, put it on your calendar for next year. Our 5th Annual run will be May 1st - 3rd , 2009.

The weather has been beautiful up here. When you ride thru town look us up. HCC has a lot of members that love to go for a ride every weekend. If you’re looking for a great lunch in the heart of Payson try the Buffalo Bar & Grill, on HWY 87 and Bonita.

Our monthly meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at Tiny`s Restaurant @ 10:00 am. Come early for a great breakfast. We would love to see more faces at our meetings. We go for a ride after the meeting.
